I’M RAKESH KUMAR -

Professional Engineer

Hi, I’m Rakesh Kumar, a Lead Engineer, Inventor (with 12 patents), and author of the book “Practical Guide to Forming Simulation.”

My goal is to simplify metal forming challenges using computer-based simulation, often referred to as virtual tryout. This book offers both theoretical insight and step-by-step practical tutorials, making it ideal for job-ready training.

I’m also the creator of sharmarakesh.co.in, where learners can access free video tutorials and downloadable 3D CAD practice files to support hands-on learning.

This book explain the theoretical part of metal forming simulation, also it gives practical training of hyperform software. This training is otherwise very rare in the industry, you have to first buy software, which is too costly. For me, it's full value of money, it will guide and serve me throughout my working carreer, even it's a job ready program. Thanks to the hard work of the author.

Good for product and die designers. Unlike other books related to the metal forming technology, this book clearly serve the purpose of practical theory and training, which otherwise is very in industry. If you are willing to learn from the technology to solve real life problems, this is very practical book. I will higly recommend to buy.
